What we do

Services

Consulting and implementation that meets institutions where they are — from assessment and planning through delivery and handover to your team.

01

Core banking modernization

Proven Platforms, Modern Foundations.

Helping institutions plan and execute the move off ageing core systems at a pace the business can absorb, with continuity of customer service as a design principle throughout.

02

Payments & messaging

Faster Payments, Greater Certainty.

Advising on and implementing modern payment rails and messaging standards, so institutions can plan for industry deadlines and keep pace with their peers.

03

Capital markets technology

Resilient Trading, Reliable Settlement.

Strengthening the systems behind the trading desk — order management, market data, post-trade and the control environment — through design, integration and testing.

04

Data & analytics

Connected Data, Confident Decisions.

Building modern data foundations that bring scattered information together and give leadership a consistent view of the business.

05

Risk & regulatory technology

Stronger Controls, Clearer Evidence.

Helping institutions build the systems, data lineage and evidence their examiners expect. Your compliance and legal teams own the regulatory interpretation; we build the technology that supports it.

06

Merger & integration

Two Institutions, One Future.

Planning and delivering the technology integration behind a merger, so the combined institution can work toward operating as one from day one.

Scope of our work

Clear lines,
by design.

We are a consulting and implementation firm. Being precise about what we do — and don't do — is part of how we keep engagements safe for our clients.

What we do

  • Assess, plan and design technology change
  • Build, integrate and test under your change-control process
  • Support cutover and hand ownership to your team
  • Work inside your environments, on your access controls

What we don't do

  • Host, operate or monitor client systems as a managed service
  • Hold custody of client funds, or store client data on our own infrastructure
  • Keep standing production access outside client-managed environments
  • Provide legal or regulatory compliance opinions
Why Retrospective Systems

We're in it
with you.

Institutions bring us in when the work is too important to hand to a generalist. We stay side by side through delivery and leave your team ready to carry it forward.

01

Financial services only

We work in one industry, so we arrive already familiar with your regulators, your vendors and your release calendar.

02

Senior, US-based employees

The people you meet are the people who deliver. Our consultants are employees based in the United States; we do not subcontract delivery.

03

Continuity first

Every engagement is designed with the running business in mind: new runs alongside old, and cutover waits for the evidence.

04

Built to hand over

We finish by transferring ownership — documentation, training and support until your team holds the keys.

How we work

Side by side,
start to finish.

A straightforward engagement model built around one priority: keeping the business running while the technology changes. Each stage ends with something you own, and you choose how far to go.

01

Understand

We learn how the estate actually works today, and where the real constraints sit.

Stage one
02

Plan

We agree a path forward that fits your timetable, your budget and your risk appetite.

Stage two
03

Deliver

New runs alongside old until the results reconcile, so cutover is a decision made on evidence, under your change control.

Stage three
04

Hand over

We transfer ownership to your team, with the documentation and support to back it up.

Stage four

Who we are

This website is operated by Retrospective Systems, Inc. ("we", "us"), a Georgia corporation based in Atlanta, Georgia. Questions about this policy can be sent to contactus@retrospectivesystems.com.

What we collect

If you email us, we receive what you send: your name, email address, organization and the content of your message. We ask you not to include confidential or customer information in a first message. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. Our web host may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to set up that engagement. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are held in our company email system, which our email provider processes on our behalf under contract. We do not otherwise share your information unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer if they become part of a client engagement record.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to contactus@retrospectivesystems.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Third-party resources

This page loads fonts from Google Fonts and front-end libraries from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Those providers may see your IP address when your browser requests those files; their privacy policies govern that processing.

Animated terminal panels, ticker displays and similar elements on this site are visual illustrations using sample, fictional data. They do not show any client's systems or data and are not a live monitoring service.

Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by everyone. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we review the site against that standard when we make changes.

What we have done

The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, labeled form fields, visible keyboard focus, and colour contrast chosen to meet AA ratios for body text. Decorative animations are hidden from assistive technology, and all motion — including the typing effects and scrolling tickers — is switched off when your operating system's "reduce motion" setting is on.

Known limitations

The animated hero background is decorative and has no text alternative beyond the page content itself. Some monospaced label text is small; use your browser's zoom if you find it hard to read, and the layout will reflow.

Tell us

If you have trouble using any part of this site, email contactus@retrospectivesystems.com. We will respond within five business days and provide the information you need in an alternative format if required.
